Mayuri (May) is an Occupational Therapist specialising in Paediatrics. She graduated in Bachelors of Occupational Therapy. She holds working experience with wide range of Paediatric caseloads both in India and Australia (since 2020)
Her areas of Interests are:
Autism Spectrum disorders(ASD), ADHD, Developmental delays, Fine and gross motor development, self care skills, Handwriting skills, visual perception and visual motor skills, self-regulation and social skills, sensory processing
Why I Love Being An OT
I love being an Occupational Therapist because it is a Health profession which focuses on the promotion, restoration and maintenance of productivity in people with a wide range of abilities and disability
I believe in active participation with clients in order to achieve their goals through meaningful activities to maximize their independence
We do not deal with a part in human being rather we consider the whole human being when treating any disability or disorder so that our clients can perform their function in their respective roles with confidence and can live their life to the fullest
