Aydan has experience working within multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with professionals from various fields to support clients across the lifespan, with a strong focus on the neurodiverse population. She is passionate about child-led and family-centered therapy, ensuring that sessions are engaging, meaningful, and tailored to each individual’s needs. Inspired by research and best practice (and perhaps a few lessons from Bluey), she believes that learning happens best in natural, play-based environments.
Aydan is currently studying a Postgraduate Certificate in Play Therapy and is a Hanen More Than Words–certified speech pathologist, supporting young autistic children to develop communication skills by coaching their parents to use strategies within everyday routines. She also has a specialised interest in feeding and swallowing intervention.
With a background in language development and communication accessibility, Aydan is passionate about helping people find their voice—whether that’s through words, signs, or AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). She is committed to providing evidence-based, individualized therapy and believes in fostering a collaborative environment where families feel empowered in the therapeutic process.
