Sargam Satti is a registered provisional psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). Sargam is undertaking her 5th year supervised practice internship employed at The Western Specialist Centre to provide individual, family and group interventions. Sargam will be supervised by Psychology Board of Australia-approved, experienced specialists, Fiona McKinnon, Rita Sosich and Nadine Borg.
Sargam is interested in working with people from adolescence through to adulthood. Sargam is well-trained in completing assessments in evidence-based counselling in practice, clinical and therapeutic interventions, psychological assessment and ethics and research in practice. Sargam provides a safe space to support and work collaboratively with client’s to achieve positive mental health outcomes.
Sargam has experience working across a variety of evidence-based techniques such as:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Brief Solution-Focused Therapy
- Mindfulness
- Motivational Interviewing
Sargam has experience working with a variety of presentations such as anxiety, stress management, autism, intellectual disability, selective mutism, difficulties with motivation and depression.
She is skilled in assessing psychological functioning, including the use of standardised measures such as the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, DASS-21, K-10 and Childhood Autism Rating Scale, Second Edition (CARS-2).
